What did you say?

An all to frequent conversation in our house:
O: Can I watch a movie?
C: No sweety not right now.
O: What did you say?
C: I said No- not right now.
O: Did you say yes?
C: No. I said NO.
O: What did you say?
C: OLIVER, I SAID NO!
O: Did you say yes?

He's rather remarkably smart for a 2 1\2 year old. His tactic is to wear one down as much as possible until they are forced to give in. I hate to admit it works more often than I would like. ;)
